Social Media Marketing

We all start somewhere...

Working at my moms catering company in Wisconsin, while deciding college wasn’t for me, I was lost. Taking over my moms business felt wrong. I knew I wanted to help the business, but not in these circumstances. So, I dipped my toe into the social media marketing space and fell in love. From there I further educated myself and to this day still learn more and more.

I began in the role of Social Media Manager with my moms company. They soon opened a ‘sister’ business ( The Social Affair Venue). I saw this as an amazing opportunity to prove my skills.

Few months into working in my new position at The Social Affair, I began to get multiple messages asking for help. I designed websites, had media marketing 1:1 meetings, and worked as a SMM for many more businesses.

TWO YEARS LATER

Years later, I decided that I wanted a bigger pallete of clients. This prompted my move to San Diego California. I did this by myself at a very young age! Yes... just me, myself and I with a 3,000 mile road trip. This was it, my new beginning of many opportunities! I did online courses to further my knowledge, talked with other professionals in my industry, stalked some on social media and boom! I landed my first California client!
